Proposed Development Near C.O.P.

Calgarians who live near Canada Olympic Park are likely familiar with the Paskapoo Slopes, along the TransCanada Highway and near C.O.P. The land has been open to the public for years, and the City of Calgary is now reviewing a proposed development for the lower portions of the slope.

The proposed development would see the property rezoned and would include a mix of commercial and residential buldings, and parkland further upslope.

If you're a resident near there, or are just curious about the proposed development and what it means for the area, the City of Calgary is hosting two free information sessions:

    Date: Tuesday, June 24, 2014
Time: Drop in anytime between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Location: Irish Cultural Society of Calgary (6452 – 35 Avenue N.W.)

    Date: Thursday, June 26, 2014
Time: Drop in anytime between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
    Location: Calgary French & International School (700 – 77 Street S.W.)
